What you will do

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Finance team to implement and review financial strategies that support Volvo Penta China’s business objectives and long-term growth.
  • Deliver insights and recommendations to the management team on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Collaborate with Global Finance and Business Support team, as well as local cross-functional teams, to drive business initiatives and enhance financial performance and compliance.
  • Closely work with Sales & Marketing and Service Market teams to identify operational gaps, optimize processes, and deliver solutions that improve efficiency and accelerate business growth.
  • Oversee all financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with both local and global policies. Lead the Business Control team to maintain financial controls and mitigate risks.
  • Manage the Lingang operations team, Front office and Logistics teams to provide comprehensive operational and logistic support to the market.
  • Ensure strict adherence to internal compliance standards, regulatory requirements, and Volvo Group’s global policies across all functions.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Finance and Business Support team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Who are you?

 

As a member of Volvo Penta China’s management team, you will lead the Finance and Business Support functions, providing end-to-end support across Finance, Corporate Management, Front Office, Logistics and other operational areas. This role ensures professional and seamless support for Sales & Marketing and Service Market teams to drive the business growth and closely work with global Finance and Business support function and collaborate with corporate and cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and compliance.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Deep understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory frameworks in China.
  • Experience in strategic financial planning, analysis, and execution. Knowledge and experience in operations and logistics is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role, with demonstrated success in leading teams.
  • Familiarity with Volvo’s business control and credit management processes and systems is preferred.
  • Fluent in both Chinese and English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and optimize end-to-end business processes.
  • Demonstrates high integrity and courage in daily work.
  • Ability to inspire, develop, and lead high-performing teams, fostering accountability and consistently delivering results.
