Within SO&T, Reman+ has more than 80 years of expertise in delivering high-quality remanufactured products that extend the lifetime of vehicles and machines while supporting the circular economy. With production sites across Europe, North and South America, India and China, we serve customers worldwide through a competitive global remanufacturing network.
The China site produces remanufactured engines, hydraulics and other service market products, with the potential to grow product and business portfolio by supporting the Asia-Pacific region.
You will work and contribute directly in the RAPID project
As a Logistics engineer for the Warehouse, Internal material handlings, you will be part of the project logistics team in China with the overall responsibility for supporting the production process and delivering the internal material handling solutions within the plant as well as planning and developing our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warehouse design, including layout, capacity calculation, and storage.
- Warehouse daily operation management
- Logistics engineering design and continuous improvement, including material flow design, logistics equipment and tools design,
- Design and optimize internal logistics processes, such as receiving goods, taking stock, right sizing; kitting, sequencing picking for assembly; internal parts transportation for delivery, cost efficiency and safety.
- Set requirements for logistics equipment purchase.
- Participate in and support internal and external audits stores,
- Physical implementation of references, administration, inventory and material handling systems knowledge.
- Support overseas business with core import, bonded production, customs electronic handbook.
- Lead small logistics related projects when needed.
- Closely work and collaborate with global engineering and logistics teams in France/Sweden/China.
Who are you?
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in logistics engineering or a related role, preferred in automotive or machinery industries.
- Experience in green field plant/production line or warehouse is an advantage.
- Understanding of circular economy principles and sustainable logistics practices, as a plus.
- Knowledge in logistics software (SAP) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Project management experience and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English and Chinese, in speaking and writing.
