What you will do

Main Tasks/ Responsibilities / Authorities

•    Coordinate, prioritize and drive all assigned Purchasing Development Key focus areas
•    Work with team colleagus to achieve results and targets 
•    Establish and develop a strong collaboration with stakeholders and internal customers 
•    Handle uncertainty and the unexpected. Hold things together during tough times. 
•    Provide input in the development of the Region China and Global Purchasing Business Development Road Maps 
•    Elaborate the Efficiency Roadmap towards wanted position 
•    Secure the compliance of  Purchasing with the applicable processes, procedures and guidelines from Purchasing, Volvo CE and Volvo AB 
•    Propose concrete and articulated actions aiming to reduce risk of non-compliance 
•    Identify and mitigate potential risks in processes 
•    Preparation for internal / external audits and leading the audits 
•    Prevent audit findings by preparing the audited plants in advance 
•    Assist on the definition of corrective actions as a response from audit findings 
•    Analyze consistency of business relevant raw data, and drive corrections. 

Who are you?

1. Education/Professional Qualifications required for the position:
•    University degree (Technical, Business, Financial or comparable) 

2. Additional Important Requirements:
•    More than 5 years of experience in Purchasing/Sourcing
•    Teamwork: Building cooperation among individuals and departments, sharing information and resources, and working to achieve group goals and outcomes 
•    Customer Focus: Understanding and meeting the needs of customers and addressing the interests and concerns of all organization stakeholders 
•    Fluent in English both verbal & written is a must. Additional languages are an added merit. 
•    Communication and influencing - accurately transmitting information while having good listening capacity so that relations based on trust are built. 
•    Delegation - achieve objectives through others, supporting them in results accomplishment.
