What you will do

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Director to lead the growth and development of our Versatile Engine business in China. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, expanding market share, and spearheading the adoption of innovative technologies. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of commercial skill, technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the sales operations for the versatile engine (VE) business across China.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to grow the VE and its subsegments.
  • Drive the transformation toward new energy technologies, including e-mobility, dual fuel and hydrogen.
  • Support and initiate long-term local product planning for emerging technologies in China.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across OEMs, industries, and applications.
  • Forecast and plan sales volumes and revenue targets; monitor monthly performance.
  • Oversee OEM engagement, application development, and order fulfillment processes.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective CRM practices.
  • Lead and inspire the VE sales team to achieve high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution of sales-related activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, ICE, or with MBA degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction machinery, material handling, and related industries.
  • Prior experience in the engine or construction equipment sector is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in both Chinese and English.
