For Service Market Director, the Job Responsibilities as below:

 

Service Market strategy, work plan and department budget development

  • Implement Volvo Penta IBU (Industrial Business Unit) Service Market strategy and develop local service market strategy to drive local business development.
  • Dealer network development strategy and OEM service market strategy development.
  • Customer oriented, focus on Key fleet owner relationship development.
  • Cooperate with other departments (Engine Sales, Volvo Logistic, Volvo Action Service, P&C and Finance team) to drive the business performance.
  • Create and implement the commercial Service Market department work plan and budget.
  • Act as the bridge between local market and global function department to achieve the regional/global targets.

Department management

  • Lead and motivate 3 teams consisting of 15 persons to achieve the set targets and business objectives.
  • Responsible for employees’ training and development in the department and ensure excellent performance and employee satisfaction.
  • Standardize and optimize department business processes based on market demand and follow up established process.

Service Market sales volume and profitability and service level

  • Develop, package, price, promote and drive the Service Market volume and profitability for the total Service Market offer (parts, service, exchange, and other soft products) for the China Market.
  • Drive the parts sales and be responsible for active product management of existing Service Market products as well as driving the implementation of new products.
  • Secure the Service Market technical competencies and the dealer training activities, maintain the warranty administration and support the Service Market Business Support team to implement activities such as logistics, dealer development, marketing ASP etc.
  • Support our dealers to create, communicate and implement dealer business plans for sales of Service Market products through own dealerships and sub-dealerships to secure the Volvo Penta Service Market sales targets.

We are looking for an authentic and inspiring leader to join us as the Service Market Director. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to develop and drive a globally aligned and local prioritized Service Market Strategy. In this leadership position, you will have responsibility for the Parts sales, Service and Service market operations. Is this the perfect opportunity for you?

 

Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in Service Market. And over 5 years people leadership experience.
  • Demonstrating strong organizational leadership.
  • Results Driven & Management Review Discipline: Demonstrates determination, know-how and accountability for ensuring that results are achieved. Plans, organizes, prioritizes and monitors progress to ensure the attainment of business objectives.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge in finance, team leadership/people management, business management and operations management.
  • Communication, Presentation & Engagement, able to engage with the organization in a timely, relevant and appropriate manner.
  • Employee Management & Team Leadership: The ability to employ resources with the right skills and provide direction, coaching, motivation.
  • Good communication skill in English and Mandarin both oral and writing.
