What You Will Do
At Volvo CE, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the construction equipment industry and society at large. You will:
- Support Head of Aftermarket Purchasing Americas on administrative tasks as assigned.
- Support Aftermarket Purchasing North America team on administrative tasks as assigned.
- Support problem-solving and improvement initiatives in the department.
- Support internal and cross-functional communication and collaboration.
- Support and participate in Aftermarket Purchasing department meetings.
Your future team
Purchasing Aftermarket North America team is represented by 6 purchasing professionals, based in Shippensburg-PA, managing around 50 MUSD in business-to-business (“B2B”) relationships, in both USA and Canada.

- Teamwork & Collaboration skills: Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with various departments.
- Communication skills: Clear communication with suppliers, team members, and stakeholders is crucial.
- Basic Understanding of Supply Chain Principles: Understanding how the supply chain operates, including logistics, inventory management, and procurement processes.
- Microsoft Excel skills: Data management, including basic functions, pivot tables, and data visualization.
- Basic Financial Acumen: Basic understanding of how costs are structured in purchasing and the impact on profitability.
- Familiarity with ERP systems: Basic understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software like SAP.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- English (US): Fluent, preferably as native l
