About the position:

As a Procurement Process & Data Analyst, you will play an important role in connecting business needs with information technology to deliver meaningful and effective solutions. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will help identify procurement requirements, map and improve internal processes, and turn data and insights into digital solutions that create value for the business. In this role, you will also contribute to a collaborative environment by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and helping drive continuous development across the team.

 

Location: This is an onsite position based in Shippensburg, PA, USA.

What you will do

  • Analyze procurement business requirements and propose effective functional and digital solutions.
  • Create data analyses, dashboards, and visualizations to support data-driven decisions.
  • Map, review, and improve procurement processes and systems end to end.
  • Develop and maintain business intelligence tools and applications, mainly using Power BI, Qlik Sense, and Power Apps.
  • Use artificial intelligence tools to support smarter ways of working and help strengthen data literacy across the team.
  • Lead improvement initiatives from definition through implementation, ensuring stakeholder alignment and delivery of expected outcomes.
  • Apply data analytics and data quality principles to improve process performance and business insights.
  • Develop automation routines and workflows, mainly using Power Automate, to improve efficiency and data integrity.
  • Support process measurement and adherence to defined methods, tools, and ways of working.
  • Help ensure procurement routines support relevant business, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide training and create work instructions for purchasing and supply chain professionals.
  • Support strategic regional activities related to quality, sustainability, capacity, and cost.
  • Represent the team and region in cross-functional and global forums.

Who are you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Fluent English, with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset and good interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of digitalization and information technology concepts in a business environment.
  • Understanding process improvement concepts, methods, and practices.
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft 365 skills.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik Sense, QlikView, Power Apps, or similar.
  • Experience with ERP and data warehouse systems.

At the Volvo Group, we strive for a clear, transparent, and straightforward compensation approach, motivating you to contribute to the company’s growth. For this position, the base pay is set at $72,600 - $89,700 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible.  The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
