What you will do
Job Context
The Support Specialist IT will provide support either remotely (e.g. Service Desk, User Administration, User Requests) or locally (Time Critical Support, Desk Side Support) to maintain and operate our end user and onsite services.
Job Responsibilites:
- Incident & Problem, Request, Change, Knowledge & access rights management
- On behalf of Delivery
- Work within the guidelines and routines defined for the service or OBO assignment
- Work to ensure relevant KPI/PI’s goals for the team they are working with are met for the service or OBO assignment
- Work with preventive maintenance and Pre-Check
- Provide information to end users in the event of operational disturbances
- Escalate cases to other support functions when necessary
- Follow the requirements concerning Information Security described in Volvo’s Security Handbook
- Support 2nd and 3rd line teams with problem identification and resolution
Job Requirement :
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology with at least 1 year experience in a Help Desk or support environment
- Experience working in a highly matrixed organization
- Ability to work in a team environment, manage multiple clients, and provide consultative skills throughout the process with a high sense of urgency
- ITIL certification or experience is an advantage
