About Control & Transport Solutions team 
We are a team working on mission-critical solutions within the Manufacturing Execution layer, operating close to the factory floor. Our software supports the Volvo production of Trucks, engines, gearboxes and more – across factories in 8 countries. We focus on quality, runtime stability, on-time delivery and continuous improvement to support the success of the Volvo Group’s global manufacturing operations. 

 
Your Role 

As a Associate Developer, you will: 

  • Work with design, development, test and maintain robust and scalable applications. 
  • Be an active member of a Stable team, contributing throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Be part of continuous improvement in both our technical solutions and development practices. 
  • Be a team member contributing to a culture of learning and collaboration. 

What We’re Looking For?
We’re seeking a developer on associate level who can contribute hands-on with code. You are self-driven, solution-oriented and ready to work in an agile environment.

Must-Have Qualifications
Bachelor’s  degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field

 

Experience of the following is a merit:
•    C++ and C#. 
•    SQL and relational databases

Familiarity with tools such as:
•    GitHub 
•    Docker, Kubernetes
•    Blazor (or similar front-end frameworks)
•    RESTful APIs
•    Entity Framework
•    Git and version control workflows
•    Scrum or other agile methodologies

 

Nice-to-Have Skills
•    Background in the automotive or manufacturing industry
