We are beefing up our team and looking for:

We are looking for a Software Engineer to add capacity to our Order&Planning team at Volvo Group Digital & IT team in Skövde.

A Professional Software Engineer with passion for technologies and the art of creating value by code, supporting the GTO Powertrain Plants with solutions, interaction with key users and being part of the digital journey. Primary business domain is Order Planning.

 

You will be part of a small and engaged team based in Sweden and working in a global culture. We help each other and have a coaching approach. The team consists of Software Engineers, Solution Engineers and Digital Product Owner and works in accordance with Agile methodology.

  • Competence in system development and distributing systems
  • Experience with parallelly processing solutions
  • Are willing to work in both Front and Backend
  • To be in direct interaction with key users
  • To participate in requirement breakdown sessions

Personal profile:

You might have had a role as Scrum master or Tech lead in a previous position combined with a software engineer role

 

You enjoy teamwork and contribute an open mindset and take responsibility for the results.

As person you are innovative, self-driven, eager to learn technologies and processes in a combination with a customer-oriented attitude. You as a person have the ability to work in a culture of change.

 

You have knowledge about the lifecycle of software development, including analysis, unit testing and continuous integration. Also experience from automotive industry is seen as an asset.
