Key responsibilities

•    Ensuring month end closing results are in accordance with IFRS and Group policies
•    Analyze the monthly financial KPIs: revenue, costs, gross profit, operating margin, selling expenses, sales growth analysis, gross profit analysis etc., actual figures vs. Budget and deliver proper explanations for the variances incurred
•    Obtain the business understanding to be able to meet the business stakeholders’ expectations
•    Implement processes, Group systems and procedures to guarantee the coherence, relevance, and reliability of management information flows and financial flows in line with the Group's Policies
•    Support the CFO in delivering the financial and strategic planning, forecasting and reporting
•    Production of monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc management reporting
•    Stay up to date with all changes to Group, IFRS and local GAAP reporting and ensure full understanding of the impact to the business
•    Maintaining and updating the business & data systems to meet the Group and business requirements
•    Participating to and leading ad-hoc projects within the continuous improvement processes of the Company
•    Supporting the accounting department with financial audit related requirements
•    Being the point of contact for both local business stakeholders as well as regional controllers.

The successful candidate should have

Education and experience:

•    University Degree (preferably Business Administration, Economics or Finance)
•    Good understanding of IFRS and local GAAP requirements
•    Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
•    At least 5 years of relevant experience in Accounting/Auditing/Business/Financial Controlling roles
•    Proficiency in English
•    ACCA (or equivalent) certification (finalized or in progress) is an advantage
•    Previous team management responsibility is an advantage
•    Power BI is an advantage.
