HGV Technician - Teesside 

 

Earn Around £45,000 OTE based on a 45 hour week | Overtime paid at 1.5x | Industry-Leading Training & Benefits 

 

Volvo Trucks and Buses are looking for skilled HGV Technicians to join the team at Teesside. This is an opportunity to join a globally recognised manufacturer that genuinely invests in its people, training, technology, and long-term career development.

You will have:

  • A Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
  • Previous experience working on HGV’s or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry

What you will do:

You’ll play a key part in keeping Volvo Trucks operating safely and efficiently by carrying out: 

  • Routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs  

  • Diagnostics and fault finding on mechanical and electrical systems  

  • MOT preparation and inspections  

  • Accurate completion of job cards and workshop records  

  • High-quality work delivered safely and efficiently  

  • Collaboration with the wider workshop and service teams to deliver excellent customer support
