QA Intern job description overview

Interns can gain experience in the field of software testing and learn practical knowledge that cannot be learned on campus. We welcome energetic, willing to learn, modest and steady first/second year master's students and second/third year undergraduate students to join us as software testing interns and work with our Volvo employees to complete tasks.

QA Intern duties and responsibilities

• Understand the software development process

• Analyze software requirements

• Design test cases for software

• Write user documentation/manuals based on existing software

• Perform software application testing tasks independently under the guidance of a mentor

• Collaborate with IT team members

• Actively learn new technologies

• Provide support for diagnosing system problems and troubleshooting activities

QA Intern requirements and qualifications

• Computer science, software engineering or information technology related majors

• Proficient in English reading and writing

• Good communication skills and able to interact with the IT team

• Ability to assist mentors in problem solving

• High execution ability
