Volvo Group Digital and IT has a strategic goal to strengthen the Identity and Access Management area, with a focus on providing more modern and secure solutions to our employees, external partners, and IT Delivery teams, increasing IT security, and improving our ability to assure compliance with both internal and external standards and regulations.

 

Volvo Group Digital & IT is looking for a Service Leader to join the Digital Identity team. (flexible position: Lyon, Goteborg, Gent, Wroclaw).

 

You will be reporting to the Manager of Digital Identity Service Management and will work in close collaboration with our partners, application delivery teams within Volvo Group Digital & IT, and business stakeholders in a multicultural and global environment.

Mission and Context

Your mission is focused on three core aspects:

 

  1. To establish and manage the Identity Data Catalog, driving its adoption within Volvo Group.
  2. To define and ensure the implementation of APIs and integration patterns between business applications, IT infrastructure platforms, and IAM services.
  3. To drive the adoption of Identity and Access Management tools and services within the Volvo Group by making them easy to consume by other IT stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Set the strategic direction, long-term plan, and roadmap for your services.
  • Accountable for development, innovation and continuous improvement of services in your area, acting as sponsor and chairperson of project steering committees.
  • Oversee management of service incidents & problems in the area, handling related escalation.
  • Secure compliance of services with corporate standards, directives, and architectural principles.

Role

For all Digital Identity services, manage the data catalog:

  • Design and maintain the Identity data catalog, used as a model for all identity information at Volvo Group.
  • Enforce the implementation of the data catalog across Volvo Group.

 

For all Digital Identity services, manage APIs and other application integrations:

  • Collaborate with architects and other Service Leaders to deliver adequate APIs, develop documentation and test frameworks.
  • Document and promote validated integration patterns for all Identity services and components toward application development teams.

 

For all Digital Identity services, ensure adoption:

  • Collaborate with other Service Leaders in the team to verify / deliver adequate documentation and training material, targeting end users and application development teams.
  • To develop and maintain reference applications, code snippets, etc. to demonstrate the usage of Digital Identity services.
  • To coach, guide and support all consumers of IAM services at Volvo Group.
  • Serve as a liaison to application development teams needing support to consume Digital Identity services

Requirements

We are looking for intelligent, driven individuals who are passionate about what they do and have exceptional teamwork skills. We’re looking for candidates with:
 

  • Strong competence from end user services and/or cybersecurity, specifically with Identity and Access Management (IAM) technology.
  • Experience with software development and architecture.
  • Knowledge and experience working with complex data, for example as a data steward or data manager.
  • PASSION for structure, order, and detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, executives, and teams in a multicultural and global environment.
  • Excellent research and communication skills with the ability to effectively translate needs and requirements across multiple disciplines.
  • The ability to influence without authority and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
