What you will do

As a Digital Product Owner of SuccessFactors application for VOLVO GROUP, you will work closely with digital product managers, other digital product owners, digital product area owner, solution engineers, business analysts and stakeholders, to continuously improve our products and the user experience. You will take ownership of the digital product and as a champion of the product vision and your team, you will turn the roadmap into deliverables and secure the alignment with the overall product strategy and product vision. You are a member of a stable team and are responsible for managing the team backlog prioritization and delivery.  

 

Together with your colleagues and in the broad cross-functional network at the Volvo Group, you will take responsibilities in the following areas: 


•    Drive the Agile Journey in the team and contribute to the agile maturity level improving step by step.
•    You will work closely with business stakeholders such as DPMs (Digital Product Managers) and SMEs (Solution Matter Experts).
•    Ensure that the product development backlog is organized, prioritized and kept up to date.
•    Ensure that the backlog is visible, shared and understood.
•    Ensure SLAs are set and consistently met for all solutions managed by the team.
•    Work with team development to ensure long- and short-term plans for appropriate capacity and skills are in place.
•    Support products and solutions within the team's scope.
•    Monitors the budget for the solutions within its scope.
•    Contribute to the development of the team's skills to guarantee the ability to deliver in a changing environment.
•    Ensuring that the team receives regular feedback on the work carried out.
•    Contribute to the digital product roadmap and capacity planning.
•    Ensuring that the digital product is developed and maintained in accordance with the given architecture, security requirements and strategy.
•    Managing interactions with stakeholders, collaborating with other local regularly global departments and partner at a strategic management level.
•    Working on projects with a global scope: daily contact with international contacts.
•    Steering root cause analysis of problem cases related to Priority 1 incidents affecting your applications.

You need to have a deep understanding of the cost, risks and compliance requirements associated with the development and operations to assess the benefit and value. 
Furthermore, we believe this role requires experience from working towards digital product orientation, agile ways of working, and knowledge of information technology trends. 
In addition to this, you are a passionate believer in lifelong learning. You should feel energized by working both independently and interdependently, have proven skills in cross-functional collaboration and thrive in managing, foster, and enable both the perform and the transform angles of the job.
 

Qualifications likely required to be successful in this role include:
•    Customer oriented   
•    Experience in leading a team 
•    Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills 
•    Strong structuring and organizing skills 
•    Ability to present business and technical issues, ideas, and recommendations in verbal, written, and presentation formats using storytelling and logical arguments. 
•    HR domain knowledge/experience
•    SuccessFactors experience (3+ years)
•    Experience working in an agile set-up, as DPO would be beneficial
•    SaaS solution experience
•    The skills to identify risks and impacts regarding the functional solution from a business analysis perspective to propose changes in business processes, IT implementations and/or operations when necessary 
•    Proficiency in English with enables you to take part in international projects 
•    A university degree in Computer Science. Systems Engineering, Business Analysis or similar. 
•    Ability to work in multi-cultural and diverse environments, on-site or remotely, together with communication experience at all levels of the organization
