Transport is at the core of modern society. Imagine using your expertise to shape sustainable transport and infrastructure solutions for the future. If you seek to make a difference on a global scale, working with next-gen technologies and the sharpest collaborative teams, then we could be a perfect match.

What you will do

Our job is to keep society running. Making sure that food gets to the grocery store, hospitals have electricity, and that people can commute to work. We do that by making sure that Volvo Group trucks, engines, buses, and construction equipment keep running uninterrupted all over the world. Together with other talented people from a diversity of backgrounds and with a wide variety of skills we make sure that spare parts are available when they are needed in a sustainable distribution network with thousands of dealerships.

To make that magic happen we combine supply chain knowledge with data analytics in an exploratory environment where organization and hierarchy are less important.

Within Demand & Inventory Planning (DIP) team we forecast global spare parts demand and optimize inventory to ensure the right parts are available in the right place at the right time. Our team supports Trucks brands working closely with the broader Service Market Logistics organization.
We lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process and are building PlanIT, our cloud-native planning solution on Azure, which will be the digital backbone of our operations going forward.

Who are you?

We’re looking for someone who is eager to join our transformation journey, who can bridge the analytical and operational worlds to improve how we plan, simulate, and steer our global supply chain.

You might be a great fit if you are:

    • Skilled at navigating the complexity of a global and dynamic supply chain
    • Curious and proactive in leading or contributing to cross-functional processes like S&OP
    • Analytical and experienced with simulation, optimization, or advanced modeling
    • An ambitious self-starter who thrives on solving real-world challenges creatively
    • Excited to grow your skills in Python, SQL, Power BI, and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
    • Interested in applying agile ways of working & managing projects
    • Having a continuous improvement mindset (lean thinking) with leadership skills to drive complex transversal problem solving (locally or globally)
    • Comfortable communicating insights effectively in English to both peers and senior leaders

Ready for the next move?
