What you will do

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Accountant to join our team in Vilnius, Lithuania. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Chief Accountant Lithuania, Operational and Sales teams, and the Baltic finance team, supporting our business operations and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate is a team player with a passion for accounting, eager to develop their skills, and ready to contribute to modern financial processes.

 

Main activities and core responsibilities:

  • Managing accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliation of customer ledgers and balance confirmations
  • Processing bank transactions and preparing payment forecasts
  • Communicating effectively with clients to reconcile debts, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues
  • Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliation of balance sheet items and internal controls
  • Utilizing Dynamics 365 Business Central for accounting tasks
  • Assisting in internal and external audit processes by submitting required documentation
  • Performing various daily tasks to support the accounting team

Who are you?

To fit our ideal profile, You have:

  • Education in business management, finance, accounting, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience with a solid understanding of accounting principles
  • Knowledge of leasing products and services is an advantage
  • A passion for accounting tasks and a strong commitment to professional growth
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail, systematic working approach, and the ability to work independently
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Flexibility combined with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel (including VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage
  • Fluency in Lithuanian and English, both verbal and written
