The Collections & Recovery Specialist plays an important role in supporting portfolio quality and minimizing credit losses across Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. The role combines analytical, operational and decision-support responsibilities by monitoring collections performance, preparing portfolio and overdue debt reporting, reviewing contract modification requests, and providing recommendations to support sound credit and collections decisions.
The position reports to the Credit Manager at Volvo Financial Services Baltics.
Main activities and core responsibilities:
• Monitor collections and recovery performance across the Baltic portfolio.
• Work with soft collections providers and directly with customers, as needed, to determine cause of delinquency and negotiate payment arrangements.
• Prepare and maintain overdue debt (OVD), delinquency and collections performance reports for management.
• Ensure data quality and consistency within collections and portfolio management reporting.
• Analyze portfolio trends, identify risk areas and recommend corrective actions.
• Review customer requests for contract modifications, payment extensions and restructurings.
• Perform financial and risk assessment of modification requests and prepare recommendations for approval.
• Initiate and handle termination of contracts due to default.
• Coordinate Repossession and support Remarketing functions as required.
• Support decision-making by providing portfolio, collections and recovery insights.
• Monitor recovery performance and support actions aimed at maximizing recovered amounts.
• Lead periodic collection meetings to discuss individual accounts and action items.
• Drive continuous improvements in collections, recovery and contract administration processes.
• Support implementation of new tools, products and business initiatives impacting collections activities.
Who are you?
In this role, you will bring:
• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in collections, credit, risk management, accounts receivables or financial analysis. Experience in a customer service or similar environment is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to assess financial risks and identify appropriate mitigation actions.
• Good understanding of leasing and loan products.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in an international and multicultural environment is an advantage.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Fluency in Lithuanian or Latvian and advanced level of English.

Salary level: from 2.900€ to 3.600€ per month gross (before withholding taxes) depending on skills and experience. Also, annual bonus program will be applied in accordance with the Company policy.
