What you will do
We are looking for a qualified Boilermaker to join our Wacol workshop team. In this hands-on role, you'll perform repairs and fabrication work on heavy vehicles and components while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to manufacturer standards. You'll play an important role in keeping our customers on the road and our workshop operating at its best.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out repairs and fabrication work to manufacturer specifications
- Working on heavy vehicle components and workshop equipment
- Completing work accurately and efficiently to meet productivity targets
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
- Recording job information and ensuring documentation is completed correctly
- Participating in a collaborative team culture focused on quality and safety
- Supporting Volvo Group Australia's commitment to environmental and workplace safety standards
- Contributing to continuous improvement within the workshop team

- Trade qualified Boilermaker
- Sound mechanical aptitude and technical skills
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and experience completing workshop documentation
- Reliable, flexible and willing to adapt to changing workshop priorities
- Professional, honest and supportive approach to colleagues and customers
- Experience working with heavy vehicles or equipment will be highly regarded
