What you will do
Are you passionate about financial analysis and eager to gain hands-on experience in a global business environment? Join our team as a Finance Trainee at our production facility in Wacol, supporting Group Trucks Operations. In this role, you will work closely with Business Controllers to manage financial data, support key financial processes, and gain valuable insight into the financial operations of a global company.
Key responsibilities:
• Assist the Business Controller with financial reporting, forecasting, and business planning.
• Support month-end and year-end processes and contribute to accurate financial reporting.
• Collect and organize financial data to create reports, dashboards, and models.
• Support with administrative tasks related to finance, including pricing and standard cost management.
• Contribute to process improvements and enhance efficiency within financial operations
• Support internal and external audits as required.
Who are you?
We’re looking for a candidate who is ideally in their third year of study or a recent graduate, with:
• Bachelor’s degree or in the third year of Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Available to work the majority of the week, including during month-end activities.
• Full-time presence in the Wacol office (valid driver’s license and car required).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
• Experience or interest in digital tools like Power BI and data visualization (advantageous).
• Strong process improvement mindset and ability to work independently with guidance.
• Excellent initiative, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communicator with attention to detail and a strong team player.
