IT Process Analyst

What you will do

As the IT Process Analyst, your area of work will be focused on providing effective business support for the Truck Sales System to Volvo Group Australia and our dealer network. You will work across all three of the Volvo Group brands – Volvo, Mack and UD – to guide stakeholders in optimizing the use of the system.

 

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Working with user groups to identify, develop, acquire, and implement methodologies for the installation of new sales systems or the integration of existing systems
  • Studying and analysing system requirements; managing systems development, process analysis, design, and re-engineering
  • Ensuring adequate product testing prior to implementation; improving existing processes and procedures; modelling future system configurations
  • Supporting business case development by identifying and articulating business value
  • Developing and delivering training on business processes
  • Recommending software acquisition or implementation to improve information systems efficiency
  • Driving and coordinating small-scale activities and projects delivered locally and in collaboration with overseas teams.

Your future team

Reporting to the Business Systems Manager, you will work as part of a team of 8. Your team forms part of the greater Digital & IT group of roughly 33 employees. The Digital and IT business unit are a group of personable and collaborative individuals who work well across different departments and are always happy to lend support where it is needed. You will be based full time at our Wacol Head Office.

Who are you?

  • A degree qualification in Information Technology (or similar)
  • Post graduate experience working in an Information Technology team
  • Strong business analysis skills, including business process modelling (BPMN 2.0)
  • Experience in requirements gathering and analysis
  • Demonstrated experience supporting projects and contributing to effective process management
  • Strong competence using tools like Azure DevOps, Confluence & Microsoft 365 suite
  • Excellent business communication skills.
