What you will do
As an Intern, you will support the Data & Digital Solutions team with reporting, analytics, and continuous improvement activities. This position will offer a learning and development opportunity for you, gaining practical experience working in a global organization. You will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge you are acquiring through your studies to real workplace situations and projects.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Working with the Data & Digital Solutions Manager and team on new and ongoing initiatives in the data, analytics, and BI reporting space
- Collecting, cleaning, collating, and organising data and information to support accurate reports, dashboards, and documentation
- Supporting the preparation, validation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of recurring reports, dashboards, and visualisations
- Assisting in analysing trends, patterns, and business performance information to support reporting and decision-making
- Assisting in documenting reporting processes, standards, templates, definitions, and team ways of working to improve consistency and knowledge sharing.
Your future team
Reporting to the Data and Digital Solutions Manager, you will join a collaborative team of 11 professionals, made up of Data Analysts, Software Engineers, Master Data Specialists and a Power Platforms Specialist. The team is inclusive and supportive of each other, led by an energetic and good-humoured manager. This role will be a 6 month casual contract, working 3 to 5 days per week, depending on your availability around your studies. You will be based in our Wacol head office.

- Solid Microsoft Office 365 skills
- Exposure to Power BI, SQL and Excel reporting is an advantage

- Strong research and analytical skills
- Willingness to learn and apply reporting standards, templates, and best practices.
