What You’ll Be Doing
VGA has an opening for an Internal Communications Coordinator to support the Group Trucks Operations (GTO) Communications for our factory. In this key role, you will be responsible for a wide variety of administrative tasks, internal communications, event coordination, and facilitating factory tours, all aimed at enhancing communication and engagement within our organization.
Key responsibilities:
• Internal Communications & Content Creation: Develop and manage content for various internal platforms (email, Violin, Wacol Wire, Engage, DIB screens), ensuring consistent and relevant messaging for employees.
• Event Coordination & Factory Tours: Plan, organize, and execute internal events such as town halls and employee gatherings, while also managing factory tours, including logistics, booking, and guest relations.
• Multimedia Production & Feedback Analysis: Create engaging photography and videography for internal communication, and analyze post-tour feedback to enhance future tours and events.
• Strategic Support & Internal Approvals: Assist with the Wacol strategic communications plan, support crisis management communications, and ensure all materials meet internal approval processes.
Who are you?
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
• Experience in internal communications, event planning, or corporate communications.
• Strong organizational skills for managing events, tours, and logistics.
• Multimedia proficiency (photography, videography, editing).
• Resilience and ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, industrial environment.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and adapt to changing priorities.
