As part of our ongoing growth and commitment to operational excellence, we are looking for an Internal Control and Risk Manager to join our team. This role will be instrumental in leading and owning the internal control framework for VGA, ensuring that effective risk management and control practices are embedded across the organization.
Key responsibilities:
• Internal Control Implementation: Lead the implementation and maintenance of internal controls as per Volvo Group processes, ensuring alignment across all functions.
• Documentation Management: Ensure all documentation, including sales transactions and controls, is up-to-date and rolled out across relevant channels.
• Training & Development: Conduct training for management, key control owners, and control performers, fostering a culture of internal control within VGA.
• Risk Management: Lead the Residual Value Risk Management process, evaluate VGA commitments, and drive continuous improvements in risk management practices.
• Reporting & Compliance: Secure monthly internal control and risk management reporting, and coordinate the Compliance and Risk Committee.
• Handover & Support: Ensure smooth handover of controls to owners with relevant documentation and training, providing ongoing support where needed.
Who are you?

• Extensive experience in risk management and internal controls, with a deep understanding of risk mitigation strategies.
• Proven track record of working in large organizations, demonstrating the ability to manage complex structures.
• Strong sense of autonomy, with a demonstrated ability to take full ownership of responsibilities and drive results independently.
• High-level analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• CPA/CA qualification or experience in an audit background is desirable, though not essential.
