What you will do
- Provide the required level of technical skill aligned to the Maintenance Competence Matrix
- Intermediate technician knowledge with mechanical systems, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
- Lead fault finding to gain solutions to technical issues in equipment breakdowns
- Conduct scheduled maintenance, maintained in accordance to specifications.
- Conduct diagnostics and conduct repairs
- Conduct complex repairs with minimal supervision
- Proficient in reading drawings and technical manuals
- Planning maintenance jobs, more complex repairs and major repairs, including trade coordination, sourcing for spare part
- Participate x-functional team to deliver scope of works and planned activities
Who are you?
- Tooling
- Holds a minimum standard of competency for tooling required for role.
- Identify and use correct tooling for each task
- Competent in the use of basic hand tools
- Competent in basic oxy and welding equipment
- Competent in measuring tools
- Uses safety tools and equipment
- Advance skills in use of hydraulic equipment
- Advance skills in use of pneumatic equipment
Holds a Trade Certificate, Tradesperson’s Rights Certificate or equivalent nationally accredited training achieved through Australian apprenticeship arrangements as prescribed by the National Quality Council in the Australian Qualifications Framework Qualifications Issuance Policy.
