VGA is seeking a technically minded and proactive Order Planning Specialist to support our Volvo and Mack brands. In this role, you will work closely with dealers and production teams to ensure the successful fulfillment of all truck order requirements. Additionally, you will provide valuable input to enhance Volvo & Mack’s forecasting and planning processes.

Key responsibilities:
• Plan all Volvo and Mack orders for production at Wacol and overseas, ensuring timely fulfillment.
• Collaborate with dealers to provide accurate updates on truck builds and deliveries.
• Strengthen dealer relationships and reinforce the Order Office’s role in meeting delivery timelines.
• Build strong connections with Group Trucks Opertations (GTO), Group Trucks Technology (GTT), and Sales to maintain VGA’s reputation for excellent service.
• Support change management initiatives within the Order Office and with dealers.
• Provide pricing, specifications, truck availability, and ensure adherence to Order Office processes to minimize costly errors.
Who are you?
What We’re Looking For:
• Heavy Vehicle Technician or Engineer with extensive experience and knowledge of heavy and medium-duty vehicles, including mechanical concepts and applications.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to engage at all organizational levels.
• Proven ability to manage and navigate through change management processes.
• Advanced administrative, computer, and literacy skills, with a high attention to detail.
• Strong customer focus, delivering exceptional service and solutions.
• Ability to effectively work through challenges while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
