What you will do
We’re on the lookout for a forward-thinking Organisational Development & People Experience Lead (Internally known as Manager, People Experience) to help drive our vision of an empowered and high-performing workforce and inclusive workplace.
This is more than just a role — it’s a unique opportunity to lead critical “portfolios of excellence” across leadership development, diversity and inclusion, capability and leadership, and wellbeing, while playing a strategic role in embedding a positive employee experience from recruitment through to succession.
As a senior leader within our People & Culture (P&C) team, you will:
• Drive and lead portfolios of excellence including:
• Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
• Mental Fitness & Wellbeing
• Leadership, Learning & Capability Development
• EVP, Culture & Engagement
• Talent Acquisition, Onboarding & Early Careers
• Talent & Succession Management
• Workforce Planning & Strategic Sourcing
• Deliver high-impact, people-first strategies to enhance organisational capability and culture.
• Provide strategic advice on organisational development, cultural transformation, leadership growth, and change readiness.
• Collaborate with Volvo Group University (VGU) to deliver world-class learning programs, locally tailored for our teams.
• Develop communication, change management, and training plans that support key P&C initiatives.
• Act as a trusted coach to business partners and leaders, ensuring accountability and alignment with organisational goals.
• Represent the People & Culture function with professionalism, integrity and a customer service mindset.
• Enjoy influencing at the senior most level, while demonstrating enthusiasm for diagnosing needs and designing and delivering initiatives from the ground up
Who are you?

• Deep expertise across multiple HR disciplines including learning, Leadership development, DEI, engagement, and workforce planning.
• Experience in designing and implementing contemporary initiatives that are segment leading, innovative and continue to reinforce Volvo Group Australia’s position of differentiation when it comes to People Experience
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with a passion for facilitation
• A collaborative, coaching approach with the ability to influence, inspire and engage across all levels.
• Experience designing and implementing programs that shift culture, uplift capability, and improve wellbeing.
• Confidence navigating change and complexity in large, matrixed organisations.
