Regional Connected Services Manager

What you will do

 As the Regional Connected Services Manager, your primary purpose is to drive the strategy and sales performance of service solutions within your region. You will support a region of dealers and Key Account Managers in executing service contracts and fleet management services, analyzing regional trends to identify growth opportunities, and assist in developing tailored proposals to drive sales and profitability growth. You will focus on delivering a premium customer experience, particularly in Service Contracts and Fleet Management Services.

 

Key Responsibilities

Regional Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead the implementation of the Service Solutions Strategy within your region.
  • Analyze regional trends to identify growth opportunities and develop tailored proposals.
  • Seek and pursue new commercial opportunities and drive change initiatives.

Sales & Performance Management

  • Drive sales performance across dealerships and key accounts.
  • Lead dealer engagement to grow Service Solutions sales and utilization.
  • Manage the dealer pipeline and proactively support business development efforts.
  • Participate in major sales negotiations and support tender submissions.

Operational Support & Optimization

  • Support the execution of service contracts and fleet management offerings.
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics, including monthly and ad hoc reporting.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and close performance gaps.
  • Lead or support regional meetings, project implementation, and improvement initiatives.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Collaborate with Commercial Managers to forecast truck sales and align Service Solutions targets.
  • Work cross-functionally on marketing, training materials, and process updates.
  • Communicate Service Solutions updates and assist with global/local project execution.

Dealer & Customer Support

  • Train and support dealers to effectively sell and manage Service Solutions at retail and fleet levels.
  • Respond to dealer and customer inquiries related to service contracts, extensions, adjustments, and issues.
  • Drive contract retention through proactive dealer engagement and customer follow-ups.

Fleet & Connected Services

  • Support activation/deactivation and administration of Fleet Management and Connected Services (e.g., Volvo Connect, Fuel Tax Credit).
  • Address daily operational queries from the Functional Mailbox.
  • Manage invoicing with Credit Office for service agreements and dealer sponsorships.

Systems & Reporting

  • Support system feedback and enhancement (CQ Online, VOSP, TSA1).
  • Develop and maintain customized reporting tools to track sales and performance data.

  • Exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership with the ability to engage and gain acceptance with stakeholders throughout the business
  • Strong project and change management skills
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Business Degree / or relevant Management degree highly desirable.
  • Trade certificate in the automotive industry – highly recommended

Salary for the role: $80,000-$90,000, plus superannuation.
