What you will do
We are looking for a motivated and safety-conscious Storeperson to join our Warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out dispatch and warehousing activities to ensure all materials are stored, picked, transported, and delivered to the production department as required.
You’ll work closely with the Warehouse Team Leader and Supervisor to support production operations while maintaining a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.
Who are you?
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (LF/LO) to load, move, transport, and unload stock
- Pick and prepare orders, including manual picking and use of order-picking forklifts
- Unload shipping containers and move heavy items using hoists/cranes
- Transport picked stock to production areas using tow buggies and forklifts
- Operate computers to check stock, orders, and parts availability
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping (5S) in the warehouse
- Participate in team initiatives such as Safety or Quality representative roles
- Follow all company policies, safety protocols, and environmental standards
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Current LF and LO forklift licences
- Basic literacy, numeracy, and computer skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures
- Commitment to safe work practices and teamwork
Preferred:
- Certificate III in Warehousing & Distribution (Transport & Storage)
- Experience in a warehouse/dispatch environment, including order picking
- Background in manufacturing and/or heavy vehicle industry
