You’ll be joining Renault Trucks UK, a well-recognised brand in the commercial vehicle industry with a strong reputation for quality, reliability and long-standing customer partnerships.

 

This role sits within our Engineering & Homologation team. You will report to the Homologation Manager and support him, 5 Sales Engineers and the Head of Product Management. You’ll play an important role in supporting our products, dealer network and key industry partners across the UK.

 

You will also work closely with our dealer teams, bodybuilders, a variety of internal departments, including product management and engineering colleagues in Lyon.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

In this role, you’ll be a key member of the Engineering & Homologation team. Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Support with Type Approval and engineering documentation and assist dealers and body builders with homologation queries.
  • Provide day-to-day coordination, administration and documentation support to the Homologation and Sales Engineering teams.
  • Manage customer access to the Renault Trucks bodybuilder Portal
  • To challenge existing ways of working and develop and implement new processes to enhance best practices.
  • Manage the Homologation shared email inbox.
  • Manage and produce purchase orders.
  • Support the team in meetings with dealers and third parties.
  • Assist with enquiries from the DVSA, DVLA, VCA, and DfT.
  • Invoice for the production of documentation and reports supplied to dealers & customers

 

Who are you?

  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage documentation accurately. 
  • Able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
  • A natural team player who enjoys working collaboratively and supporting others
  • Proficient in handling customer enquiries via email. 
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable and proactive approach to tasks and challenges. 
  • Experienced using systems and MS Office 365.
  • A positive attitude towards improving ways of working
  • An understanding of the automotive industry (advantageous but not essential)
