As a Marketing Apprentice you will be part of our very busy and lively Marketing Department where the successful candidate will be able to contribute to the team and make a real change, as well as provide you with excellent marketing experience. The role reports directly to the Volvo Trucks CRM and Customer Satisfaction Manager. You will be working on various projects and learning about the different areas of the department, which will assist you whilst studying too.
As an apprentice, on-the-job training and mentorship will be provided to support your professional development and enhance your Marketing skills alongside achieving a level 3 qualification.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support with the ongoing Salesforce engagement of the sales teams (new truck, used truck and service market)
- Support dealers with their use of our Customer Experience Management platform - One Voice
- Reporting & Analysis of sales and marketing data
- Assistance with digitalisation of marketing, sales, and service offers, including analysis of customer data, benchmarking, and identification of industry trends
- Handling and qualifying all sales leads that are generated via marketing campaigns
- Review/assessment of current marketing campaigns/processes with opportunity to improve and/or change
- Carry out a comprehensive review and assessment of all current and potential lead generation channels on all media currently used, including benchmarking against our competitors
- Carry out a comprehensive review & assessment of the digital marketing channels currently used, including benchmarking against our competitors, propose and deliver on new initiatives and ideas
- Support with advertising, PR and social media creativity and placement

Who are you?
Are you a school leaver or looking for a career switch? This could be the role for you.
You have a good level of written and spoken English with strong attention to detail. You need to have effective project management skills. You must have a minimum of English and Maths GCSE to be considered for this position. You will also need:
- Willing to travel, stay away overnight and work some weekends in support of marketing event delivery, current valid driving licence
- Understanding and appreciation of key marketing principles
- Good interpersonal skills with experience of teamwork.
- Familiarity with the breadth of digital media in B2B – Internet, social media, E-marketing, site optimisation techniques, content creation etc.
- Ability to present ideas logically and practically
- Good communication skills
- Willing to learn, develop and contribute quickly
- Able to work well under pressure to stringent deadlines; handle a number of tasks, along with core project, at any one time, capable of prioritising, planning and organising work
