Alternative Shift Pattern 

Early Shift: Monday - Thursday 0600 - 1430 | Friday 0600 - 1330

Mid Shift:  Monday - Thursday 1000 - 1830 | Friday 1000 - 1730

 

Or 

 

Permanent Late Shift with 2 shift Patterns 

Monday - Wednesday 1430 - 0100 | Thursday 1430 - midnight 

Tuesday - Thursday 1430 -0100 | Friday 1430 - midnight

At Volvo Truck and Bus Centre North & Scotland we give our customers exactly the vehicles they need, from new trucks to our certified used trucks. For repairs, service and maintenance, the specialist team at Volvo Truck and Bus North & Scotland keep our customers moving. All work is carried out in our well-equipped workshops by experienced, Volvo trained technicians, using genuine Volvo parts and we are looking for experienced Technicians to join our team!

 

The Role! Just a few of the things you will get involved with.

 

You will be equipped to carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly.

  • Assist in the fault diagnosis process.

  • Service Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.

  • Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license).

  • Assist with roadside breakdowns.

  • Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately.

  • Ensure all vehicle defects are reported.

  • Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well maintained.

  • Help us in supporting the development of trainees and apprentices.

Do you hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and have previous experience working on HGV’s or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry?
