Financial Control & Accounting, Accounting Services (Shared Service) is now looking for a (Junior) Global Process & Solution Key User  in Record to Report  department.

 

*Our office is in Wroclaw, and we work in a hybrid model. A relocation package is not available.

As a (Junior) Global Process & Solution Key User, you will be working in a dynamic, professional, and multicultural team providing both process and technical support for various systems, including the accounting and consolidation system in the Volvo Group. The team members also participate in various local and global projects. The key focus area for us now is SAP S/4HANA and BlackLine implementation. The team’s knowledge and expertise are highly valued in the organization, and therefore we also support process development, improvements, and implementation of standard processes on a global and local scale, including any adaptations or variants.

Position description:

You will be responsible for direct support for the end users of BlackLine. You will also be responsible for supporting the accounting community in BlackLine expansion usage – usage of the additional reconciliation templates, automations for journal entries, automations for open items clearings. As you learn our processes and ways of working, you will gradually start participating in various projects, first as a project participant, and then taking on more responsibilities, being responsible for certain areas and working closely with the project managers.

 

In this pivotal role, you will provide essential support to end users of BlackLine, ensuring seamless operation and efficiency. You will be instrumental in expanding the utilization of BlackLine within the accounting community, enhancing the adoption of additional reconciliation templates, and automating journal entries and open item clearings.

 

As you deepen your understanding of our processes and operations, you will progressively take on more significant roles in various projects. Initially participating as a project team member, you will eventually assume greater responsibilities, overseeing specific areas and collaborating closely with project managers to drive success and innovation.

Candidate Profile:

  • A relevant BSc. or MSc. degree
  • 2+ years of professional experience gained in Record to Report area
  • Good in spoken as well as written English
  • Knowledge of BlackLine
  • Knowledge of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA finance module will be an advantage
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially Excel

  • Solve problems with BlackLine raised by the end users
  • Analyze business requests for improvements and automations from a process and solution perspective
  • Collect, propose, and help prioritize requests
  • Cooperate with business and IT
  • Participate in various projects related to BlackLine
  • Support design and implementation of new modules
  • Perform process training and give support to the end users
