What you will do
Every year we look for a new generation of IT specialists - students and graduates, who are eager to join us for an internship - Drive IT with Volvo WORK&STUDY. With the support of a mentor, they have a chance to learn and contribute to IT projects and teams. You can be one of them - start your career with Volvo Group IT and get to know us better.
We are looking for a Software Engineer – Student/Trainee in Quality Assurance area (mainly Test Automation) to join VGIMT/SCORE project. VGIMT is a financial application that enables all entities of Volvo Group to optimize their investment decision-making and execution processes. Score is a tool to optimize budget allocation, control spending and align project prioritization with strategic objectives. Team consist of 30 people, including developers, business analysts and testers.
We are now looking to strengthen our team with more skilled people in Test Automation area.
You will be responsible for implementing new tests, enhancements and maintenance of already existing solutions.
Tools used in the project: Playwright TypeScript, Ranorex C#, Python and Tricentis Tosca.

Who are you?
- You are a student in your 3rd, 4th or 5th year of study, or you have recently graduated
- You are available from January/February 2025
- You have basic knowledge of ISTQB testing principals, interest in testing area
- You have programming skills in any language, preferably: Playwright, TypeScirpt, Python, C#
- You have experience in test automation tools like Playwright or Selenium
- You are open-minded and honest
- You communicate in English fluently
