What you will do
You will be a Data Analyst working in Data Analyst Chapter to deliver best in class solutions for FinOps area:
- Monitor Azure usage and spending to identify cost-saving opportunities through rightsizing, commitment plans, and best practices.
- Support optimization of usual and advanced Azure services, including Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning, and other AI-driven workloads, ensuring sustainable scaling and cost-efficient deployments.
- Develop and manage Azure cloud cost forecasts, budgets, and reports for technical and financial stakeholders.
- Build dashboards and reporting using Azure Cost Management + Billing, Power BI, and FinOps tools.
- Define and enforce cost governance policies (e.g., tagging, spend limits, reserved instances).
- Support costs models to allocate costs across departments or business units.
- Partner with Engineering, DevOps, and Finance teams to align cloud usage with strategic goals.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across cloud financial management processes and tooling.
- Contribute to FinOps working groups and support leading initiatives to enhance cost awareness and accountability.
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of billing and usage data to support audits and compliance.
- Work together with business stakeholders to transform questions and problems into technical requirements
- Query, manipulate and analyze data using different tools and techniques
- Be responsible to ensure data consistency and quality
- Share knowledge and field-experience with your Team
As part of Data Analyst Chapter member you will:
- Work in cross functional agile teams to deliver new products and functionalities
- Benefit from dedicated trainings to grow skills as a Data Analyst
- Collaborate closely with other Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Data Architects and Data Scientists during the implementation and deployment of the advance analytics solution
- Ensure best practices with the Ways of Working both for your team and business users
- Share knowledge and best practices with your peers and colleagues
- Learn and use modern data preparation, data exploration and data visualization tools and techniques
Who are you?

Experienced Data/FinOps Analyst with at least 2 years of hands-on FinOps experience in a cloud environment (preferably Azure).

Strong knowledge of Azure Cost Management + Billing, Power BI, and other FinOps tools for building dashboards and reports.

Proven track record in monitoring cloud usage and spend, identifying cost-saving opportunities (e.g., rightsizing, commitment plans), and optimizing advanced Azure services such as Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, and Azure Machine Learning.

Skilled in developing and managing cloud cost forecasts, budgets, and financial reports for technical and business stakeholders.

Familiar with cost governance policies (tagging strategies, reserved instances, spend limits) and chargeback/showback models to allocate costs across departments.

Excellent collaborator, able to partner effectively with Engineering, DevOps, and Finance teams to align cloud usage with strategic and financial goals.

Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset, with a continuous improvement attitude toward cloud financial management processes and tools.

Knowledgeable about FinOps frameworks and best practices, and comfortable contributing to working groups or leading initiatives to improve cost awareness and accountability.

Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and compliance, ensuring billing and usage data integrity for audits.

Effective communicator in both technical and non-technical contexts, with the ability to translate complex cost insights into actionable recommendations.
