What you will do
At People Analytics, part of Group People & Culture, you will go beyond delivering reports — you will help shape how workforce data is used across the organization. You will turn data into insight and insight into action, supporting our journey toward becoming a truly data-driven People & Culture function.
Working closely with stakeholders across the Volvo Group, you will not only respond to data needs, but proactively identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and improve the way we work — driving scalable, forward-looking solutions with a global mindset.
Your Future Team
We are a team of over 15 people analytics professionals. We deliver timely insights about the workforce, respond to enterprise requirements for insights, support People & Culture professionals in learning data literacy and constantly work on improving People Analytics foundations to maximize the value created.

Who are you?
Do you love numbers more when they tell a story? So do we. In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with People & Culture leaders and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that align with global, organizational goals
- Ensure data quality & reporting accuracy: ensure the correctness and timeliness of reports by validating data and supporting data quality checks and corrections
- Translate HR data into meaningful insights by delivering both regular and on-demand reporting for management and People & Culture, using data from SAP
- SuccessFactors, SAP HCM and related sources, with occasional support for external or statutory reporting
- Drive continuous improvement in our analytical capabilities, recommending and implementing advanced tools and methodologies
- Translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations and present them in a clear, concise manner to stakeholders
- Act as a promoter of modern analytics and reporting approaches, supporting the adoption of global tools, standards and best practices
Requirements:
- Experience in data analysis or a related field, preferably in HR analytics
- Excel proficiency with experience in advanced formulas, pivot tables and data preparation (Power Query)
- Ability to work with data not just to report, but to identify patterns, challenge assumptions and propose improvements
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to simplify complex information into digestible and actionable insights
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse audiences
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent English
What will be considered an asset:
- French language skills
- Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, or another Core HR system
- Familiarity with BI or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Experience with basic automation
