Assignment description:
Bus Manufacturing Solution Center covers most of global logistics, production planning, sales and aftermarket processes performed in Volvo Group buses’ factories. As part of the group buses’ systems are integrated with other appointed Volvo Group solutions like KOLA, GPS & Master Finance and also third parties environments.
Main duties are connected to being a Lead Architect role in different projects/change initiatives, to supporting with certification - North Star alignment project reviews / Enterprise Architecture review and also supporting delivery teams with integrations.
Solution Architect we are looking for will actively participate in activities of Buses Architecture Office, including co-driving areas like:
- IT Roadmap for Buses
- VEAR update & usage
- Promoting new guidelines, recommendations and technologies based on EA Group roadmap
- Forums with other TD/BA architects
- API roadmap coordination
The delivery team is located in Wroclaw, Quebec, Mexico City, Bangalore, and Curitiba. Work is performed according to agile and lean principles focusing on competence, quality and continuous improvement, with a strong motivation for future development.
Required competencies:
A perfect candidate for the position should have:
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Economics or related
• Expertise on integration methods & tools , in particular using MQ and/or API;
• knowing Odata/WebServices/Proxies/IDOCs/RFC is an advantage
• Knowledge of compliance regulations
• Knowledge of SAP will be an advantage
• Knowledge of data migration, printout technologies, performance tuning techniques will be an advantage
• Very good English skills
• Experience working in a global environment with many different cultures. Excellent online collaboration skills. Some availability to travel, but the need for traveling is limited.
• Experience in driving Roll-out projects blueprint workshops / solving issues / triggering decisions.
