What you will do
As the Director of Retail Sales, you will lead Volvo Trucks' retail sales strategy within our company-owned dealerships across QLD and NSW, driving market share growth, profitability and customer success across Australia. This is a highly influential leadership role responsible for shaping the future direction of the Volvo Trucks sales business, strengthening customer partnerships and developing a high-performing sales team focused on delivering sustainable business results.
Reporting to the Vice President Volvo Sales & Marketing, you will provide strategic leadership across the retail sales function while ensuring alignment to Volvo Group Australia's business objectives and long-term growth strategy.
- Develop and execute the Volvo Trucks company-owned retail sales strategy
- Lead and develop a high-performing sales team
- Build strong customer, dealer and industry relationships
- Drive sales performance through insight-led decision making
- Manage pricing strategies, inventory levels and forecasting
- Lead growth of service contracts, finance and connected services
- Monitor market trends and dealer performance
- Manage budgets, reporting and sales performance metrics
- Champion change, innovation and continuous improvement
