As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in helping customers find the right truck solution for their unique operations. You will work at the intersection of sales, engineering, production and product development, influencing everything from customer adaptations and vehicle specifications to future product improvements.

Your mission will be to transform those requirements into technically feasible, commercially competitive and profitable truck solutions that help customers succeed. As a Technical Sales Engineer you will:
• Support sales organizations, dealers, and market companies with technical expertise across the Volvo Trucks product portfolio.
• Design customized truck solutions that meet specific customer and operational requirements.
• Perform feasibility studies, technical investigations, and cost quotations.
• Drive customer adaptation solutions in collaboration with engineering, product development, production sites, and bodybuilders.
• Ensure that proposed solutions are compliant, feasible, profitable, and aligned with Volvo Trucks standards.
• Contribute to concept development that reduces lead times, increases flexibility, and improves customer value.
• Capture market trends and customer insights and translate them into recommendations for future product development.
• Continuously improve processes, tools, and ways of working to strengthen customer satisfaction and business performance.

Who are you?

You likely have:
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• A strong interest in automotive technology and customer solutions.
• The ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical business solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• A structured and detail-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A continuous improvement mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• A genuine desire to make customers successful.

Technical Sales Support is part of Truck Sales Operations within Volvo Trucks. We are a highly skilled and collaborative team located in both Göteborg and Gent, working closely with markets, production sites, product development, and sales organizations worldwide.
